Each came with a battery already installed. The colors matched exactly like pictures in store. Both the fish and bug worked as described. However, you cannot turn off the fish like the bug. My cat liked both toys but was more interested in the fish. The moving tail really teased him! Very cute and fun toys for any cat. You can’t go wrong for the price!
